1. Data controller

Duelo de Minas is a personal project with no commercial purpose beyond advertising that helps cover its costs. For privacy questions, contact the site owner at fernandomorenoruiz@gmail.com.

2. Data we process and why

• Game data you enter (name or nickname, selected badge and chat messages) is stored in your browser and sent to your opponent through our connection servers. It is not stored permanently on a server. Do not enter real personal information. The legal basis is performance of the service you request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
• Technical connection data such as IP address and browser type may be processed temporarily in hosting and relay-server logs to operate and secure the service. The legal basis is legitimate interest in reliable and secure operation (Article 6(1)(f)).
• Google Analytics usage statistics are collected only if you accept analytics cookies. They include pages and screens viewed, device and approximate location, plus categorical or numerical game events such as selected mode and difficulty, matchmaking, invitation sharing, game start, first move, completion or abandonment, approximate duration and score. These events do not contain your name, room code, chat messages or board cells. We use them to find where players struggle or leave and decide what to improve. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time.
• Google AdSense advertising is enabled only if you accept advertising cookies. Google may use identifiers to personalize and measure ads. The legal basis is your consent.

3. Recipients and international transfers

Analytics and advertising services are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may transfer data to Google LLC in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. See Google’s privacy policy. Hosting and connection providers act as processors. We do not sell your data.

4. Retention

• Game data is temporary and remains only for the connection lifetime and in your own browser storage.
• Your cookie choice is remembered for 12 months.
• Google Analytics data is retained for the period configured in that service, up to 14 months.

5. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and may withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie settings” or by email. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

6. Children

The game is intended for a general audience and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 14. Minors should avoid using their real name and ask a parent or guardian before accepting cookies.

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and its date. If a change affects cookie purposes, we will request consent again.
